Missed Misses (Miss Universe 2007 edition)

I know that it is almost a month since Riyo was proclaimed the new Miss Universe. Yet, I would like to share my Missed Misses, Miss Universe 2007 edition... These were girls that, for me, deserved even a semifinalist spot because of their performance during the wholde duration of the pageant but were left out in the dark and went home empty handed....
For this year's Miss Universe, I noted three gorgeous ladies that, unfortunately, didn't receive a nod from the judges or MUO officials!!!
South Africa
Megan Coleman
I must say that her performance was way better than Claudia Henkel, Miss Universe South Africa 2005. That's the reason why I was expecting her to be at least part of the Top 10. She was beautiful, sophisticated, and would always exude this queenly aura. I love her national costume! It was indeed a national costume and not carnivalish! I really thought that blondes would take the lead, partly they did, and I was expecting Megan to be on top of the list. We could doubt her catwalk skills and blame her red number during the evening gown competition.
Spain
Natalia Zabala Arroyo
She was one of the most photographed delegate in this year's Miss Universe. She was a crowd favorite, knowing that the host country was their former colony. She was on-the-go in snatching the second crown for Spain. Yet, she didn't make it for Top 15 of MU 2007. What?!? That was my reaction after the Top 15 was called. There was a time that I rooted for this girl to win the much coveted crown and she even didn't reach the Top 15. I thought it was her catwalk! And how about India?!? Are we talking about catwalk skills? I felt sorry for Natalie.... For the past 2 to 3 years, Spain sent ladies that could easily penetrate the finals yet, they were snobbed...
Puerto Rico
Uma Blasini
Never in the history of Miss Universe that a winner crowned a successor from her own country! This year's event was no exception... Miss Universe 2006, Zuleyka Rivera, represented Puerto Rico last year and as expected, the crown went to the representative of Japan and Puerto Rico wasn't even called during the Top 15. However, I should disagree for her exclusion. I saw her preliminary performance and I thought she nailed it specially during the swimsuit competition. Her evening gown performance was solid. I was thinking about her performance during the preliminary interviews; yet, I don't think it would affect that much knowing the sash factor and her performance during the other two categories.
